The Monarch Condominiums

At The Monarch, you’re never far from the things that make vacations great. Relax or read a book under the shaded gazebos located throughout the lavishly landscaped common areas spanning the entire property.

The Jasmine Condominium is a spacious four-room condominium including three bedrooms (one with a king-size bed, two with a double-size bed), and two full bathrooms. The living room has a full-size sleeper sofa and a dining table. A glass door to the private balcony provides a view of the town. M302 pictures below.

 

Smoking

Monarch Condominium Smoking Policies:

  • No smoking in condos, lobbies, stairwells, pools, balconies, courtyard/BBQ, fitness room.  Under the New Jersey Smoke-Free Air Act, any person found smoking will be subject to a minimum fine of $250.00.

  • Guests who wish to smoke must do so along Buttercup and Morning Glory Avenues.


General

No unit shall exceed its designated occupancy level. For 3 BDR units, the maximum occupancy is eight guests; for 4 BDR units, the maximum is ten. Use of common area facilities is restricted to registered owners and their guests /renters. The Monarch Condominium Association has implemented a Facility Use Pass Policy to apply to all owners, guests, and registered renters when using Monarch common area amenities, including but not limited to pools and spas, BBQ grills, courtyard picnic tables, benches, fitness center, and lobbies.  It is expected that ALL persons over the age of two, when using Monarch common area amenities, have an official Monarch Facility Use Pass tag on their person, attached to either clothing or bathing suit, or they will be kindly asked to leave the area. This policy has been instituted for safety and liability reasons and to control overcrowding and unauthorized trespassing issues. A replacement fee of $25.00 will be assessed for each lost tag.


Security Deposit

Upon check-in, a $750 security hold will be put on all condominium reservations. This will be released the day after check-out after our head housekeeper has checked your condominium.


Check in / Check out

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Check-out is before 10:00 AM. Please inform us if you will be checking in later than 10:00 PM. You are welcome to use our facilities after check-out, however, cars must be removed from our parking lot no later than 12 noon.


Extra Person Fee

Extra Adult (20 & older): $24 Per Night. Teenagers (15 - 19 years old): $14 Per Night. Children 14 years of age and younger are free.


Nightly Room Rate / Minimum Stay Requirements

Published nightly room rates can change at any time, depending on availability. Please add a 21.38% NJ State condominium tax/service fee to all published nightly room rates. In-season (June through August) and some Holiday Weekends (Memorial Day, Labor Day & Firemen's weekend) have a 3-night minimum. Rental minimums vary depending on availability and time of the season.


How Can I Pay My Balance?

The balance is due upon arrival and is payable with cash (dollars), traveler’s checks, certified bank checks, or a money order. We also accept the following credit cards: Visa, Master Card, and Discover Card. We do not accept American Express or personal checks.


Deposit Needed

Upon making a reservation, a single night's deposit is required for each week's (7 Nights) stay. Reservations longer than seven nights require an additional night’s deposit. Deposits are non-transferable.


Cancellation, Change Policy / Refunds

(As of 11/01/2017) All cancellations/changes to a reservation are subject to a 25% service fee if the cancellation/change occurs 22+ days before the set arrival date. The full deposit will be forfeited if a cancellation/change occurs within 21 days (3 weeks) of the arrival date. Altering your reservation cancels your original reservation. No refunds or credits are given for early check-outs, inclement weather, or unused nights. A no-show reservation is a cancellation and will result in a total loss of deposit.


Needed at Check-in

A confirmation letter (please read it before arrival) must be presented upon arrival. Guests must pay the remaining balance at check-in. We will also ask for your vehicle's make, model, and license plate number. We may also ask for your cell phone number. Please come prepared to streamline the check-in process.


Age Requirements

We do not rent to prom participants or persons under the age of 25. The Aqua Beach Hotel & Beachcrest / Monarch condominiums are a family establishment and will only rent to couples & families. You must be 25 years of age or older with a valid Credit Card / ID. One head of household (at least) per room per family is required. This must be a parent. If a parent checks in intending to leave their child(ren) in a unit unsupervised, it will result in immediate eviction of guests and total forfeiture of the deposit/monies paid.


Can I Request an Early Check-in / Late Check-out?

We cannot guarantee an early check-in; however, as soon as your room is ready, we will be happy to call you. Upon your arrival, we will ask for your cell number so we can contact you as soon as your room is ready. You are more than welcome to enjoy our pool area, sun deck, and property amenities while you are waiting. We do not offer late check-outs.


Parking

Two assigned parking spots are provided per condominium unit. Parking is strictly enforced. The Crest Police will ticket non-registered vehicles. The meters in Wildwood Crest are free overnight, from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM in season. Free parking can also be found in the residential areas of Wildwood Crest.


Can I Have Friends or Relatives Visit?

The amenities & features of our condominiums are provided for registered guests only. No unregistered guests are allowed on the property.


Housekeeping

Condominium maid service will take out the trash during your stay and replenish towels every other day. Full maid service can be provided for an additional fee.


Additional Expenses

Additional expenses may be added to your credit card for damages, abnormal wear & tear, missing room items, smoking ($250 fine), and an after 10:00 AM check-out.


BBQ Grills

Clean grills and turn off burners after use. Be considerate of others wishing to use the grills. Barbecuing and other forms of outdoor cooking are prohibited on balconies.


Play Activity

NO running, skateboarding, or playing ball is permitted in the lobbies, elevators, hallways, stairwells, pool decks, courtyard, garages, or inside units.


Towels

Do not place towels or other laundry on front or rear balconies or in any common areas.


Beach Equipment

Beach chairs, boogie boards, carts, and other beach equipment must be stored in your vehicle or on the unit's private balcony. No beach equipment may be stored on shared balconies/outside units, in the lobby, pool area, or garage. Doing so will result in their removal at the owner’s expense.


Bikes & Strollers

No bikes or strollers can be left outside units on shared balconies, in the lobby, pool area, or garage. Doing so will result in their removal at the owner’s expense. Bikes may be stored in designated bike racks (in the large bldg., the rack is located in the driveway closest to the beach; in the small bldg., personal bike racks are available on the outside west garage wall). Monarch Condominiums accepts no responsibility for articles lost, missing, or damaged. Store at your own risk of loss or damage.


Elevator

Please do not prop open elevator doors, as this can cause elevators to malfunction or get stuck. Instead, use the OPEN button on the elevator control panel to hold the door open, but not for an extended time period. If the call button is pressed accidentally, please remain in the elevator to report this.


Luggage Carts

Luggage carts are provided for owners’ and guests’ convenience. Please do not take luggage carts inside condominiums. Please be courteous and do not take carts in advance on the evening before departure. Return carts to the parking level after use.


Pet Policy

Sorry, no pets are allowed. Due to our guests' health, safety, and comfort, we cannot accommodate pets. If a guest is found to have a pet, an additional fee of $150 per day 'penalty' will be automatically added and charged to the guest’s credit card for each day of the stay.


Noise

Occupants must reduce noise levels between 10 p.m. and 9 a.m. so neighbors are not disturbed. At no time are musical instruments, radios, stereos, or TVs to be so loud as to create a nuisance. Violations are subject to citation and/or fine by Wildwood Crest Police Dept.


Trash & Recyclables

Please do not leave trash outside units or in common areas. Please place all garbage and recyclables in appropriately marked bins in your condominium or by the west end on the parking level. Wildwood Crest recycles newspapers, magazines, paper, cardboard, cans, glass, and plastic in a single stream. All recyclable items may be mixed together; however, PLEASE DO NOT mix trash with recyclables. Cardboard boxes should be flattened before being placed in the recycle bin.


Condominium Pool Rules

  • The pool and spa hours vary by day of the week and throughout the season and are posted onsite. NO Lifeguards are present. Swim at your own risk.

  • Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

  • Infants are not permitted in the pool without proper swim diapers.

  • All swimmers must shower and be sand-free before entering the pool and spa.

  • No glass bottles, dishes, containers, or drinking glasses are permitted in the pool area.

  • No food or drink is permitted in the pool/spa.

  • No running in the pool area / No diving or jumping into the pool or spa.

  • No boom boxes or portable radios are permitted. Please use headphones.

  • The spa limit is 15 minutes per usage (State of New Jersey health regulation), and children under the age of 12 are not permitted.

  • When leaving the spa, please turn off spa blowers.

  • Pick up and dispose of trash properly.

  • Do not enter pool equipment areas or touch any of the equipment.


Possible Evictions

If a problem arises and continues even after management has spoken to the guest, management has the right to evict all guests in that room with total forfeiture of the deposit/monies paid. Management also reserves the right to pursue legal action against anyone who violates these policies.
